Who’s Living Your Life Today?

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” — Galatians 2:20 (NIV)

Paul makes the most outrageous claim in this verse, and he makes it calmly: “I no longer live.” Not “I’m working on my old life.” Not “I’ve turned over a new leaf.” I no longer live. The man who wrote half the New Testament said the old Paul was gone — and Someone else had moved in.

That’s not just Paul’s testimony. It’s yours. Christ lives in you. Right now, before you’ve prayed, before you’ve had a good day, before you’ve conquered anything. The Christian life was never meant to be you straining to act like Jesus. It’s Jesus living His life in and through you, as you trust Him.

Feel the relief in that. The pressure to manufacture change was never yours to carry. Your part is faith — leaning your full weight on the Son of God who loved you and gave Himself for you. Today, when the old patterns knock, you can answer with the truth: that person doesn’t live here anymore.

Declaration: I no longer live — Christ lives in me, and today I lean my whole weight on Him.
